State Convention 2025

On February 21st and 22nd 2025, the Michigan Republican Party will be holding their State Convention and District Caucuses at Huntington Place in Detroit.

The purpose of the District Caucus held on Friday night will be to elect a new District Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. A new Executive Committee will also be elected at this time (per each of the 13 Districts).

On Saturday, the whole delegation will meet with the purpose of electing a new MIGOP State Chair, Co-Chair, Coalitions Vice-Chair, Outreach Vice-Chair, Grassroots Vice-Chair, Ethnic Vice-Chair, Administration Vice-Chair, and Youth Vice-Chair.

Mike Hewitt will be running for the State Committeman to represent the D2. Lisa Coughlin and Michelle Jorgensen have also entered the race to serve on the D2 Executive Committee.
